Testimony from Eskilstuna

We kick-started a sports gathering in two cities (Stockholm & Eskilstuna) - good players from the local derby leagues came, & helped us gather the youth by being there. Then at halftime, we preached the gospel & gave a message about Jesus & the bible & David & Goliath! This is the start of an ongoing mission to primarily muslims. Talking with some of the young boys at the sports gathering, it was the first time they had heard of Jesus, and they walked away feeling encouraged, wanting to come back and hear more about Him.

Falun, Sweden

Vincent is an atheist in Falun Sweden. His friend invited him to church & came 4 weeks in a row & then came to Carrythelove! When we preached the gospel, he decided to give his life to Jesus!! He told us he had never given his life to Jesus & needed to be saved from sin! Luke led him through a prayer giving his life to Jesus!! He was overwhelmed by Gods love, crying & was like whoa this is wild. Can I hug you? Then we did a healing call, & his hips that had been in pain for the past 6 years. He couldn’t stand up without leaning on something, it hurt to walk, & stretch. Then we prayed, & I felt God speaking to pray & God took away his pain! His hips were healed & he could walk & stretch like he couldn’t do before.

Testimony from Elijah my Co-leader in Sweden.

Elijah prayed for a really young guy named Victor - he looked tough, came from a hard background, and wouldn’t look us in the eyes. Elijah asked if he could pray for him & he was so timid & shy, quiet, no emotion, he couldn’t quite get through to him. He prayed for Victor & all he said was “good”. He asked what’s going on, & Victor said, “I feel God.” Elijah asked if he had ever given his life to Jesus, & he said, “No”. Elijah shared the gospel & asked if he wanted to give his life to Jesus, & he said “yes”. Elijah led him in a repeat after me prayer to give his life to Jesus. As he prayed, Elijah felt the peace & holiness of God. They renounced fear, anger, rejection, & when he said “Jesus, I give you my whole life,” his voice began to crack as he was holding in tears. Elijah asked how that was & how he felt & he said “God is all around me”. He told him he can hear God’s voice now that he’s given his life to Jesus been adopted as a son. They prayed together, asking God what he wanted to say to him. Victor saw a picture of a campfire & he liked that it was warm, safe. Then Elijah saw a picture of him jumping on the trampoline, having so much fun. When he shared, Victor’s lips began to quiver, and he began to laugh. & he was like I LOVE THE TRAMPOLINE! Layer by layer peeling back layers of fear."
